Open Question: why do people say that Israel won the yom kippur day when obviously Egyptians had?

also known as 6 October war and Ramadan War don't get me wrong i am Egyptian and i love that day.we were able to kick em out of our land :D but why do people say "Egyptians lost and Israel won" well hello if Israel had won Sinai wouldn't be a tourist sight and tourists wouldn't be going to it at all, and i would have been living in ruble. when i was looking on Wikipedia it says that Israel has won i was like "what the hell o.O how is that possible i see that i am still living" its either we are idiots and celebrating a day that we lost or the media and wikipeadia are lying o.O p.s: i am taking about the invasions and wars that went in Egypt and guess what the last chapter is. ah yes the victories victory of the Egyptian army. also if Egyptians lost how they are one of the best armies in Africa....
